Introduction

1-1 Overview

The SuperServer 5017C-TF is a high-end server comprised of two main subsys-

tems: the SC811TQ-350B 1U server chassis and the X9SCM-F single processor

motherboard. Please refer to our web site for information on operating systems that

have been certiﬁ ed for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).

In addition to the motherboard and chassis, various hardware components have

been included with the 5017C-TF, as listed below:

 One slim DVD-ROM drive (DVM-TEAC-24B)

 Four sets of 4-cm counter-rotating fans (FAN-0065L4)

 One air shroud (MCP-310-00029-01)

 One passive CPU heatsink (SNK-P0046P)

 One CSE-RR1U-E8 riser card for one PCI-E 2.0 x8 add-on card
