TACACS+ Global Settings
The TACACS+ GLOBAL SETTINGS page (Figure 7-14) allows you to configure TACACS
retries and choose an active TACACS server. The parameters for this page are shown in
Table 7-5.

Parameter Description
Active Server IP Address
This parameter specifies the IP address of the active TACACS server. This
server should have been already configured in the following TACACS+

Retries
This parameter determines the number of times the switch searches the
active TACACS server from the list of servers maintained. The allowed
values are between 1 to 100.
